Frankie Sanjana into the wind tunnel

Frankie Sanjana is a professional triathlete. She has performing successfully in many Ironmen. In 2019 Frankie delivered for the first time ever for Great Britain a Pro victory in the IRONMAN 70.3 Les Sables d’Olonne.

Last week Frankie went into HiAeroCycling’s virtual wind tunnel to improve her aerodynamics. We took various 3D scans (“Digital Twins”) focusing on head and arm positions. Also her new aero-helmet was tested. Digitally we placed her drinking bottles at various positions and analyzed those in our wind tunnels.

Details about her CdA under various positions and equipment cannot be shared by obvious reasons. What we can reveal is that we’ve found some potential improvements on her aerodynamics. For sure, we expect Frankie to perform even better after our analysis: more speed with less energy.
